We make our cushions in a few different ways. Our favourite way is to patch fabric remnants together, composed in groups of threes and in colour combinations that really love each other.

Sometimes to keep it simple we also make cushions out of just one piece of fabric, with a print on the front and a plain on the back. Lately we’ve been making them two sided. We might add a button in the middle or occasionally some piping or fringing around the edges. The idea is to mix it up to keep it interesting. A bit of this look with a bit of that.

The cushion covers are removable so you can wash them. They close with a hidden zip in a side seam and the insides are filled with an old fashioned mix of feathers blended with recycled poly fibre. This makes them feel heavy and plump and good to squeeze.
